The spa is engineered with a comprehensive multi-layer construction designed to maximise durability, thermal efficiency, and quiet operation through an advanced Heat-Lock insulation system.

It begins with a robust ABS base featuring reinforced PVC edges for superior structural strength, stability, and long-term moisture resistance. A double-sided heat-reflective silver insulation pad is applied to the interior spa base to minimise heat transfer and improve overall energy efficiency.

To combat one of the primary areas of heat loss, 100 mm open-cell foam insulation is sprayed along the upper perimeter of the hot tub shell. Because warm air naturally rises, this added layer creates an effective thermal barrier that helps maintain water temperature and reduce energy use.

The cabinet is fully sealed to form a continuous thermal envelope. 2 mm black PVC boards lined with 50 mm open-cell insulation are fixed to all four sides and corners, creating the complete Heat-Lock system for improved temperature stability and performance.

Exterior cabinet panels feature 4 mm aluminium sides backed with 24 mm high-density black foam and a silver foil heat barrier. This multi-layer design not only reduces heat loss but also significantly dampens operational noise for quieter running.

The SPASHIELD™ Oxford weather-shield cover skirt zips securely to the spa cover and fastens with Velcro side seals. With 4–5 mm heat-shield insulation, it helps trap warm air within the cabinet and further enhances system efficiency.

Completing the package is a premium insulated spa cover manufactured from durable Oxford weather-shield fabric with a tapered 3″–5″ core and aluminium heat-sealed insert, reflecting heat back into the water and reducing energy loss.
